There is not an area of our daily lives that does not come into contact with Lithium.  People come in direct contact with pharmaceuticals, water, air, energy and transportation, all of which contain some form of the element Lithium (Li).

Somers Lithium, founded in 1996, and headquartered in Tulsa Oklahoma, is the most recent addition to the Somers-Hayes Group, Inc.  Our lithium subsidiary began transactions with the production of lithium fluoride and lithium hexafluoro compounds for the global battery industries.  We have continued with production activities in other lithium salts such as chloride, carbonate, acetate, benzoate, citrate, hypochlorite, phosphate and numerous other lithium compounds in various specifications.  We are committed to our customers, our industry, and to ourselves.

Our company is backward integrated to both lithium ore and lithium brine.  Our lithium carbonate manufacturing allows our product line to comprise more than 40 different commercially available lithium compounds.  We continue to strategically add to our product line and we are now  manufacturing lithium metal for the pharmaceutical, battery and polymer industries.  Our metal is available in numerous specifications and forms, i.e. ingots, rods, granules, foil and wire. 

One of our fastest growing areas is custom manufacturing relying upon our experienced laboratory,  research and  development personnel.  Our future development is in the rapidly developing field of organolithium compounds.
